NANA 4 Cycles of Healing

Trauma is and has unfortunately been a common part of the lives of many children, youth, women and men in the United States and around the world. Experts in medicine, psychology, social work and juvenile justice systems are advocating for system reforms that address the unique needs of healing those who have experienced traumatic events. A consensus exists among these experts that long-term strategies to treat rather than incarcerate are needed to curb the cycle of criminal justice involvement at its source and that these programs should be supported at local, state and federal levels.  We believe along with other advocates, researchers, clinicians and other collaborative supporters that increasing public awareness of the impact of trauma and the range of effective trauma is needed to help bring healing.  Developing strategic partnerships with our communities, faith based organizations, local and national organizations to help disseminate information, products and training tools is vitally important to help bring healing for victims.  NANA is an educational program to expose and bring enlightenment to the community, victims, perpetrators, families and faith community; so that the issues that cause damage to people’s lives will be addressed and overcome.   It is my hope that you will gain vital information to help bring healing to those who suffer with these invisible wounds.  Please contact Dr. Ramona Brown for more information, materials, and workshops that are available.
